Q: How is this new referral program different from the previous one?
A: The new eShakti Friends & Family Referral program is more personalized and traceable. It allows you to choose the referral benefit you want, offers multiple ways to make a referral and is more transparent allowing you to track your referral benefits.
Q: How do I make a referral?A: You can make a referral through the ‘referrals’ section. There are several ways to make a referral:
- Copy your unique referral link and share it with anyone via a message
- Post your referral link on your social media pages
- Use a QR code in case you want to maintain your privacy.
- Email the referral link to selected contacts for the referral.
The referral section can be accessed through ‘my account’ or through the top navigation link on our website post login.
Q: When do I receive the referral benefit?A: The referral benefit will automatically be credited to your account when we ship your referee’s first order. The benefit credited to your account is the one you have currently selected.
Q: How do I choose the referral benefit I want?A: Log in to your eShakti account and go to Referrals section under “My Account” or select form the top navigation bar. Choose the referral benefit you want from the options provided and click on it to confirm. The new referral benefit will apply to any following successful referrals.
Q: Can I club my referral benefits in one order?A: The referral benefits can be clubbed in a single order
Q: Can I change the referral benefit after I have made a referral?A: You are free to change the referral benefit any time before the referee’s order is shipped. Once their order ships, any change you make will only apply to future referrals.
Q: Can I change the referral benefit after it has been credited to my account?A: No, once a referral credit is issued to your account, it cannot be changed. Any changes made to your selected referral benefit applies to future referrals only.
Q: Does the referral benefit have an expiration date?A: The referral benefit will automatically expire after one year. In case you are not able to redeem your benefit within the year, you can email us and request an extension. Please email us at [email protected].
Q: What additional benefit does the referee get when they use my referral link?A: The referee receives a $25 credit on their first clothing order placed with eShakti using your link. They may also be eligible for other new or first-time customer benefits that are available at that time.
Currently new customers are eligible for Fit Guarantee* program and therefore the referee will be eligible for this as well.
Benefits of the Fit Guarantee program apply to their first 3 orders placed with eShakti. The benefits include free customization, free remakes on fit issues and/or 100% refund. Details of this program can be found here.
Q: When does the benefit get credited to the referee?A: The benefit for the referee is automatically applied to their first order at checkout.
Q: How can I track my referrals?A: You can track your referrals in the ‘referral section’ on your account while you are logged in. Here you will find details like registrations, successful referrals, eligible benefits & redemptions made so far. You will also receive an email every time someone you referred places their first order. You will also receive a follow-up email when the referral benefit is credited to your account.
Q: Does the referrer get the referral benefit in case the referee returns their first order?A: The referrer will receive the referral benefit even if the referee returns the first order after delivery.
Q: Does the referrer get the referral benefit in case the referee cancels their first order?A: The referrer revives the referral benefit only in cases where the referee’s order is shipped. If the referee cancels their order before it is shipped, the referrer will not be eligible for any referral benefit. However, the referrer will receive the benefit if the referee places a subsequent order that is shipped.
Q: Does the referee still get their benefit if they cancel/return the first order after placing?A: In case of a return/cancellation by the referee, a refund will be made on the net value of their purchase. This includes any/all of the benefits/discounts that the referee received at the time of checkout. If the referee places another order, the benefit will automatically be applied at checkout.
Q: Can I post the referral link on a coupon site?A: No, this program is meant for personal referrals. Any referrals which are made through coupon or discount sites will not be considered for any referral benefits either to the referrer or the referee. eShakti reserves the right to revoke all referral benefits to both the referrer and the referee in case it finds any misuse including but not restricted to the use of coupon/discount sites, creation of fake accounts etc.
Q: What is the privacy policy for my email and social media contact lists when I share my referral link?A: eShakti will only use the contacts you select to share your referral link. We will not store or use your contact information for any other purposes.
Q: How do I make a referral without revealing any of my personal details to the referee?A: We value your privacy and understand you might not be comfortable sharing any personal details while making a referral. We have created the option to refer using a QR code. The QR code allows you to make a referral without revealing any personal details whatsoever but you can still enjoy the benefits of making referrals. Click on the QR code to view it in full screen, take a screenshot or save it as an image, share it with your friends and family and ask them to scan it.
Q: I want to refer eShakti to a large community and expect more than 25 referees to make a purchase. Is there a way for me to get a special benefit?A: You can make group referrals to your community by using the existing process itself. If you expect the number of referee’s to be greater than 25, please email us at [email protected] to discuss a customized benefit specially for you.
Q: Are there any conditions that prevent the referee or me from receiving referral benefits?A: We have tried to minimize the conditions so that the process is easy and seamless for both the referrer & the referee. Please find details in the terms & conditions tab at the bottom of this page.
